Cytat:4F-MBZP was identified in 4.49 grams of white powder seized by Swedish Police in
Stockholm, on 20 July 2022. The substance was contained in a plastic bag labelled as ‘PV’. The
substance was analytically confirmed using GC-MS and NMR by the Swedish National Forensic
Centre (NFC).

Cytat:There is limited information available on the pharmacology and toxicology of 4F-MBZP. Based on
its chemical structure and on its chemical similarity to BZP and MBZP, 4F-MBZP is expected to
have stimulant effects. In a study of structure-affinity relationships for 5-HT2 and 5-HT1c
serotonin receptor binding of analogues of ketanserin, a prototypic 5-HT2 serotonin antagonist,
the dihydrochloride salt of 4F-MBZP (compound 29) was found to not bind at either 5-HT2 or 5-
HT1c receptors (Ki > 10,000 nM).
